g-Space structural block model with interpreted horizons and faults

What you can interpret and model in g-Space

g-Space brings seismic interpretation, borehole data analysis and 3D geological and reservoir modeling into one environment, so you analyze existing seismic and well data in a single project. It includes:

  • Horizon and fault picking
  • Geological modeling
  • Map creation with faults
  • Well tie with dynamic update
  • Well correlation
  • Velocity model based on checkshots and horizons
  • Simultaneous time/depth picking
  • Complete demo project based on Teapot Dome data, provided by RMOTC and the U.S. Department of Energy as the data source

You interpret in time and depth with seamless switching, and AI-based fault detection, AI-assisted horizon tracking and ML-assisted log prediction run in automated or interactive mode.

  • Free trial: 1 month, and we can extend it if your evaluation needs more time.
  • Packages: g-Space is licensed per package, per year: Geological, Structural, Seismic, Reservoir and Petrophysical (see g-Space pricing).
  • Operating systems: Windows 11 and higher, Linux (RHEL 8 and later) and macOS 26 and higher on Apple Silicon (ARM).
  • Projects: PostgreSQL-backed multi-user projects, or stand-alone project files for a single interpreter.
  • Hardware: see the system requirements.
  • Universities: free for teaching and non-commercial research through the Academic License program.

How it works

How the download works

  1. Sign in to your Geomage account, or create a free one. If you are not signed in, the sign-in window opens when you click the download button, and the download starts once you sign in.
  2. Your operating system is detected and the matching installer downloads. If it can't be detected, you choose Windows, Linux or macOS.
  3. Run the installer, open g-Space and load your seismic and well data, or start from the Teapot Dome demo project.
